KEC International Limited has won a contract from Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) for the construction of an 800 kV high voltage direct current (HVDC) and 765 kV transmission line. The contract was awarded on March 15, 2025.
Transformers and Rectifiers India Limited (TRIL) has secured a Rs 7.26 billion contract from Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation Limited (GETCO) for the supply of auto transformers and bus reactors. The contract, awarded on March 17, 2025, is expected to be completed within 18 months.
HPL Electric and Power Limited (HPL) has won a Rs 3.69 billion contract for the supply of smart meters. The project will be executed as per the terms and conditions of the purchase order or supply agreement, contributing to India’s smart grid infrastructure.
