Engineers India Limited (EIL) and Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on various prospective projects in the fields of offshore wind energy, green hydrogen, energy storage, and data centres.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Ms Vartika Shukla, C&MD of EIL, Shri R.K. Tyagi, C&MD of POWERGRID, along with directors and senior officials from both companies.
This collaboration aims to establish a strong framework for joint ventures in energy transition projects, including green hydrogen, tidal energy, offshore wind, rooftop solar, and water and wastewater management. The MoU marks a significant step in supporting India’s clean energy and sustainability goals.
