Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) and Megha Engineering and Infrastructures Limited (MEIL) are technically qualified for the selection of the transmission service provider (TSP) for the Augmentation of transformation capacity by 3×500 MVA, 400/220 kV ICTs (6th-8th) and 1×1,500 MVA, 765/400 kV ICT (4th) at Bidar PS in Karnataka.
The selection is conducted through the tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB) process on a build, own, operate, and transfer (BOOT) basis.Â
REC Power Distribution Company Limited (REC PDCL), appointed as the bid process coordinator (BPC), issued the Request for Proposal (RFP) in October 2024.
