Juniper Green Energy signs agreement with First Solar for 1 GW of PV modules

Juniper Green Energy has signed an agreement with First Solar to procure 1 GW of advanced Series 7 FT1 cadmium telluride (CdTe) thin-film photovoltaic (PV) modules.Â
The modules will be supplied over two years and deployed across Juniper Green Energy’s projects in Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Maharashtra during the upcoming financial year.
The modules will be manufactured at First Solar’s facility in Chennai, reducing reliance on China’s crystalline silicon supply chains.
