Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), a subsidiary of Tata Power, has commissioned a 431 MW DC solar project in Neemuch, Madhya Pradesh. 

Spanning 1,635.63 acres, the project was secured through a competitive bidding process and features a combination of single-axis trackers and bi-facial modules to enhance system efficiency by over 15%.

The project is expected to offset 7,80,300 tonnes of CO2 annually while adhering to engineering standards, including SCADA commissioning and WRLDC compliance. 

The power generated will support Western Central Railways and Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company Limited.

With this project, TPREL’s renewable energy capacity has reached 10.9 GW, including 5.4 GW of operational capacity, comprising 4.4 GW of solar and 1 GW of wind energy.
