CTUIL invites bids for independent engineers for six transmission projects
Central Transmission Utility India Limited (CTUIL) has invited bids in six packages to appoint independent engineers for six major transmission projects. The projects include:
- Transmission System for Evacuation of Power from Renewable Energy zones in Khavda, Gujarat, under Phase-IV (7 GW capacity): Parts B and C.
- Transmission System for Power Evacuation from Rajasthan REZ Phase-IV (5.5 GW, Jaisalmer/Barmer Complex): Part H1.
- Network Expansion Scheme in Navinal (Mundra), Gujarat, for regional power drawal.
- Network Expansion Scheme in Jamnagar, Gujarat, to handle a 3.6 GW load under Phase-I.
- Augmentation of Transformation Capacity at Jam Khambhaliya Power Station.
The deadline for bid submission is November 25, 2024, for the first three projects, and November 28, 2024, for the last three. REC Power Distribution Company Limited (REC PDCL) and PFC Consulting Limited (PFCCL) are acting as bid process coordinators for selecting the transmission service provider for each project.
