Vertiv has announced the expansion of its North American manufacturing operations with a new 215,000 sqft facility in Pelzer, South Carolina.
This facility is expected to create up to 300 skilled jobs and will produce integrated modular solutions, modular power systems, and other infrastructure technologies for data centres.
These prefabricated solutions are fully factory-tested, reducing site labour and speeding up data centre deployment. Vertiv CEO Giordano Albertazzi emphasized the importance of this expansion in meeting the growing demand for AI and faster compute deployment.
In addition to the Pelzer facility, Vertiv has also expanded operations in Anderson, South Carolina, and globally in locations like the United States, Mexico, UAE, and Europe.
