The Expert Appraisal Committee (EAC) of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) has recommended grant of Terms of Reference (ToR) for four pumped storage projects (PSPs) in its recent meeting. The Kotpalli Pumped Storage Project will be developed by Chhattisgarh State Power Generation Company Limited (CSPGCL) with a capacity of 1,800 MW. NCT clears three interregional transmission projects worth Rs 38.4 billion

The National Committee on Transmission (NCT), in its latest meeting, recommended two interstate transmission system (ISTS) projects to the Ministry of Power (MoP) for final clearance.
