Coal India Limited (CIL) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) to jointly develop a 2×800 MW ultra supercritical coal-fired power plant at the Chandrapura thermal power station in Jharkhand. Andhra Pradesh commissions 18 transmission projects

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has commissioned 18 transmission projects across the state. These include upgrades such as interconnecting transformer (ICT) capacity augmentation and installation of additional bus reactors to support reactive power management.
