Purvah Green Power secures LoA for 300 MW hybrid power project

Purvah Green Power Private Limited, a subsidiary of CESC Limited, received a Letter of Award (LoA) from Noida Power Company Limited (NPCL) on December 30, 2024.  The project involves developing 300 MW Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS)-connected wind-solar hybrid power projects across India to supply power to NPCL. In November 2024, NPCL invited bids for power procurement under the Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) mode.

PFC Consulting Limited (PFCCL) has incorporated Fatehgarh II And Barmer I PS Transmission Limited, a special purpose vehicle (SPV), for the augmentation at Fatehgarh-II PS, Fatehgarh-IV PS (Section-II), and Barmer-I PS. The incorporation was completed on December 30, 2024. PFCCL is serving as the bid process coordinator (BPC) to select a transmission service provider (TSP) for the project’s establishment through the tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB) process.

Core sector output growth recovers to 4.3% in November 2024
