SUN Energy secures USD 10 million facility from SMBC Indonesia

SUN Energy has partnered with PT Bank SMBC Indonesia to obtain a USD 10 million Multi Option Trade Facility.  The financing will support raw material procurement and expand solar energy projects in Indonesia’s commercial and industrial sectors. JERA-led consortium to operate offshore wind project in Japan

JERA Co., Inc., Green Power Investment Co., Ltd. (GPI), and Tohoku Electric Power Co., Inc. (Tohoku Electric) have formed a consortium led by JERA to operate a 615 MW offshore wind project in the Sea of Japan, off the southern coast of Aomori Prefecture.  Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport, and Tourism selected the consortium to develop the project. Siemens emerges as L1 bidder for Suratgarh Thermal Power Station renovation

Siemens Limited has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) with a bid of Rs 647.79 million for civil works on the Distributed Control System (DCS) in Unit I of the Suratgarh Thermal Power Station (TPS) Renovation and Modernization (R&M) Project.  Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (RRVUNL) invited bids in February 2024. PFCCL forms SPV for Mundra transmission system

PFC Consulting Limited (PFCCL) has incorporated Mundra I Transmission Limited, a special purpose vehicle (SPV), for developing the transmission system to supply power to Green Hydrogen and Ammonia manufacturing facilities in the Mundra area of Gujarat (3 GW) under Phase-I Part B1. This was announced on December 27, 2024. PFCCL has been designated as the bid process coordinator (BPC) to select a transmission service provider (TSP) through the tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB) process.
