Glow raises USD 30 million to expand solar energy projects in India

Green energy startup Glow has secured USD 30 million (approximately Rs 2.5 billion) in funding from venture capital firms Framework and Union Square Ventures.  The investment will support Glow’s efforts to promote renewable energy adoption globally, with a primary focus on India. Cyient DLM partners with Arcedo Systems for rooftop solar project in Mysore

Cyient DLM has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Arcedo Systems to establish a 500 kWp rooftop solar power plant at its Mysore facility.  Arcedo Systems will handle the design, engineering, installation, and maintenance of the plant, which will operate under a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA).  Cyient DLM will source solar power directly from the facility, reducing its carbon footprint and enhancing energy efficiency. MP allots additional land to industrial area for RE manufacturing

The Madhya Pradesh government, led by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, has allocated an additional 442.04 acres to the Mohasa-Babai Industrial Area in Narmadapuram, doubling its size to 884 acres.  The expansion aims to boost manufacturing in electric and renewable energy equipment.  The state Cabinet has also revised allotment processes and facilities for businesses in the industrial park. BII commits Rs 2.8 billion to boost India’s EV sector
