Power Finance Corporation (PFC) has secured a long-term loan of JPY 25.5 billion from the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) under its ‘Global Action for Reconciling Economic Growth and Environmental Preservation’ (“GREEN”) initiative. Serentica Global plans 10 GW RW projects in Andhra Pradesh
Vedanta Group’s Serentica Global has announced plans to develop renewable energy projects totalling 10 GW in Andhra Pradesh. Company officials shared their plans with Nara Lokesh, the State Minister for Education, IT, and Electronics. Gujarat hydropower plants made a record in electricity generation in August’24
In August 2024, Gujarat’s hydropower plants generated 1,067.3 million units (MU) of electricity, a rise from 308.7 MU in July, due to monsoon-driven water inflows filling the state’s dams, according to ANI.
