WAPCOS Limited has received a Letter of Award (LoA) worth Rs 75.32 million to act as the Project Implementing Consultant (PIC) for Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company Limited (MPPMCL) and distribution companies (DISCOMs). 

The consultancy will support the implementation of smart metering and advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) works under the Madhya Pradesh Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS). MPPMCL invited bids for the project in January 2024.

In a separate development, Medhaj Techno Concept Private Limited has received a Notification of Award (NoA) worth Rs 63.66 million for consultancy services supporting project management assistance (PMA) to Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL) for electrification of un-electrified households. APDCL invited bids for the same in September 2024.

Recently, Insolation Energy won a contract valued at Rs 5 billion from Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Limited (RRECL) to install 77 MW of rooftop solar power systems across Rajasthan.
