Vanda RE to supply 300 MW of solar power to Singapore

Vanda RE Private Limited, a joint venture led by Gurīn Energy, has received a conditional license from the Energy Market Authority to supply 300 MW of solar power to Singapore. The power will be sourced from the larger Vanda Solar & Battery Project, which will have a total capacity of 2,000 MW of solar power and 4,400 MWh of battery storage. Set to commence commercial operations by 2028, the project aims to provide clean energy to 390,000 households in Singapore. The license was granted based on the project’s technical and commercial viability.
