Adani Energy Solutions Limited (AESL), Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL), and Techno Electric and Engineering Company Limited (TEECL) have been shortlisted as technically qualified bidders to serve as a transmission service provider (TSP) through tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB) on a build, own, operate, and transfer (BOOT) basis.
The project involves constructing a 400/220/132 kV grid substation with associated transmission lines at Joda/Barbil and a LILO (Line-In Line-Out) of the 400 kV Kaniha-Bisra double circuit line at the 400 kV Joda substation.
PFC Consulting Limited (PFCCL) invited Request for Proposal (RfP) bids for the project in July 2023. Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Limited (OPTCL) is implementing the project under the TBCB model in Public-Private Partnership (PPP) mode, with PFCCL as the bid process coordinator.
