Vedanta expands RTC renewable energy capacity to 1.03 GW

Vedanta Limited has scaled up its round-the-clock (RTC) renewable energy capacity to 1.03 GW through a combination of wind, solar, and pumped storage projects. Serentica secures Rs 8.58 billion ECB for 300 MW solar project in Rajasthan

Serentica Renewables India Private Limited (SRIPL) has achieved financial closure for its 300 MW solar power project in Rajasthan. The company has secured over Rs 8.58 billion (USD 100 million) through External Commercial Borrowing (ECB) from Rabobank and Societe Generale. Vedanta to invest Rs 1 trillion in Rajasthan

Vedanta has announced plans to invest more than Rs 1 trillion in Rajasthan, covering its zinc, renewable energy, and oil and gas divisions.  This investment is expected to create around 200,000 jobs and support the development of over 500 downstream industries across various sectors.
