ENERCON advances onshore wind projects in Iceland and Turkey

ENERCON has partnered with Iceland’s state-owned energy provider Landsvirkjun to deliver the country’s first large wind farm.  The 120 MW project in Búrfell, approximately 130 km from Reykjavik, will use 28 E-138 EP3 turbines.  Construction begins this year with turbine installation scheduled for 2026.
