Tata Power to invest Rs 1.46 trillion to double capacity by 2030

Tata Power plans to invest around Rs 1.46 trillion to double its operational capacity to 32 GW by 2030, according to CEO and MD Praveer Sinha.  As of FY24, the company’s installed capacity stood at 15.6 GW, with 6.7 GW in renewables. PFCCL transfers four SPVs to PGCIL and Adani Energy

On October 15, 2024, PFC Consulting Ltd (PFCCL) transferred four special purpose vehicles (SPVs) for interstate transmission system (ISTS) projects to their winning developers, selected through tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB). The projects were handed over to Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (PGCIL) and Adani Energy Solutions Ltd (AESL), with each developer receiving two projects.
