Goa plans Rs 11 billion investment in Verna, Tuem, and Kundaim substations

The Electricity Department of Goa is planning to develop three new substations at Verna, Tuem, and Kundaim over the next five years. The estimated investment across these projects is Rs 11 billion. GUVNL issues tender for 200 MW BESS in Gujarat

PGCIL formally acquires project SPV for “Rajasthan IV H1” ISTS scheme

On October 15, 2024, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (PGCIL) was awarded the project SPV “Rajasthan IV H1 Power Transmission Ltd” by RECPDCL, the bid process coordinator, under the tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB) route.  PGCIL will develop the transmission project on a BOOT (Build, Own, Operate & Transfer) basis.
