West Bengal clears two new supercritical power units in Salboni
The West Bengal cabinet has approved the construction of two 800 MW supercritical power units in Salboni, Jhargram. The projects are expected to draw investments exceeding Rs 10,000 crore and will operate under a public-private partnership model. State power minister Aroop Biswas noted that JSW Group is already setting up two 800 MW supercritical units at the same location.
