Waaree Energies supplies 132.5 MWp modules to Radiance Renewables

Waaree Energies Limited has successfully delivered 132.5 MWp of high-performance 575/580 MWp n-Type TOPCon solar modules to Radiance Renewables Private Limited.  These modules, designed for superior energy efficiency across diverse environmental conditions, were delivered by December 2024.  The project, supporting the Commercial and Industrial (C&I) segment, is expected to offset approximately 202,826 tonnes of carbon emissions annually. Waaree Energies secures orders for 330 MW of solar modules

Waaree Energies Limited has received a Letter of Award to supply 180 MW of solar modules, rated at 585/590 Wp, for a renewable energy project in India.  The modules will be supplied to a well-established domestic customer, with delivery scheduled for the financial year 2025-26. Additionally, Waaree Energies has secured an order to supply 150 MWp of n-type TOPCon bifacial glass-glass solar modules, also rated at 585/590 Wp, for another renewable energy project in India.

Vikram Solar secures 1,000 MW solar module order for JSW Energy projects

Vikram Solar has received a 1,000 MW order to supply solar photovoltaic modules for renewable energy projects in Karnataka, Gujarat, and Rajasthan under JSW Neo Energy Limited’s renewable energy initiative. The order includes Hypersol N-Type TOPCon Glass-to-Glass Modules with power outputs of 580 Wp or higher, designed for high efficiency and large-scale solar installations. Manufacturing will take place at Vikram Solar’s facilities in Falta, West Bengal, and Oragadam, Chennai, following strict production standards.

Premier Energies wins Rs 1.46 billion solar contracts

Premier Energies Limited’s subsidiaries, Premier Energies Global Environment Private Limited, Premier Energies International Private Limited, and Premier Energies Photovoltaic Private Limited, secured contracts worth Rs 1.46 billion for solar module and cell supply in India on January 14, 2025. The companies won Rs 10.41 billion for solar modules and Rs 4.19 billion for solar cells. Module supplies are expected to begin in May 2025.

MNRE updates ALMM, adds 1,541 MW solar capacity

The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has updated its approved list of models and manufacturers (ALMM), increasing India’s total solar module manufacturing capacity under the list to 64.56 GW. The latest update includes two new manufacturers: Indosolar Limited, with an approved capacity of 1,525 MW, and Visaka Industries Limited, with 16 MW. Waaree Energies to supply 150 MWp of solar modules

Waaree Energies Limited has secured an order to supply 150 MWp of n-type TOPCon bifacial glass-glass solar modules, rated at 585/590 Wp.  The modules will be delivered to a domestic renewable energy developer managing projects across India. Delivery is planned for the financial year 2025-26. Waaree Energies has become the first Indian solar panel manufacturer to publish independently verified Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for its bifacial mono PERC and TOPCon solar panels.

Grew Energy to supply solar modules for Jindal Renewables’ Rajasthan project

Waaree Renewable secures solar module contract for 524 MWp project

Waaree Renewable Energy Technologies Limited (formerly Sangam Renewables Limited) has won a contract to supply solar modules for a cumulative 524 MWp solar power project in India.  The contract, awarded on December 2, 2024, includes 364 MWp and 160 MWp capacities, with module supplies slated to commence in FY 2025 and FY 2026, respectively.

Solex Energy secures Rs 188.74 million solar module supply contract

Solex Energy Limited has won a Rs 188.74 million contract from Thenpandian Energy Innovations Private Limited to supply solar modules for a 13 MW solar photovoltaic (PV) power project in India.  The contract, awarded on November 30, 2024, involves the delivery of MONO BIFACIAL M10 PV modules. The modules will be supplied within six months from the contract’s award date.
