TotalEnergies and AEW secure 300-MW solar project in Saudi Arabia

TotalEnergies and Aljomaih Energy & Water Company (AEW) have been awarded the 300-MW Rabigh 2 solar power project in Saudi Arabia.  A 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) for the project was signed with the Saudi Power Procurement Company (SPPC) during French President Emmanuel Macron’s 2024 visit to the Kingdom.  The project supports Saudi Vision 2030’s renewable energy objectives and is part of the National Renewable Energy Programme’s Round 5 under the Ministry of Energy’s supervision….
