RES sells 436.5 MW Tarong West Wind Farm to Stanwellin Australia

Renewable energy company RES has agreed to sell the 436.5MW Tarong West Wind Farm in Queensland, Australia, to Stanwell, making it the largest publicly owned wind farm in the country.  Stanwell CEO Michael O’Rourke highlighted the project’s role in advancing Queensland’s renewable energy goals, aiming for 9-10GW of large-scale wind and solar capacity by 2035.
