EDC allocates USD434 million to expand Southern Negros Geothermal Project

Energy Development Corporation (EDC) has committed USD434 million to expand the Southern Negros Geothermal Project (SNGP).  The investment will support new well drilling, pad expansion, road and pipeline network upgrades, and the integration of emerging technologies.  Currently, the SNGP operates at a dependable capacity of 221.8 MW across multiple geothermal plants, with this expansion set to strengthen infrastructure and increase output.
