NLC India to invest Rs 16.3 billion in renewables arm

NLC India Limited has approved an equity investment of up to Rs 16.30 billion in its wholly-owned subsidiary, NLC India Renewables Limited (NIRL). The in-principle approval is subject to clearances from the Department of Investment and Public Asset Management (DIPAM) and other relevant authorities. Vietnam plans $136.3bn shift to renewables and nuclear by 2030

Vietnam will invest $136.3 billion in its power sector by 2030 to expand capacity and reduce coal use. Installed capacity is set to grow from over 80 GW in 2023 to between 183 GW and 236 GW. Adani Group to invest Rs 7 trillion in Rajasthan for renewable energy

Adani Group has announced plans to invest over Rs 7 trillion in Rajasthan across multiple sectors, including renewable energy.  The investment includes developing 100 GW of renewable energy capacity, aiming to create the world’s largest integrated green energy ecosystem. EDC allocates USD434 million to expand Southern Negros Geothermal Project

Energy Development Corporation (EDC) has committed USD434 million to expand the Southern Negros Geothermal Project (SNGP).  The investment will support new well drilling, pad expansion, road and pipeline network upgrades, and the integration of emerging technologies.  Currently, the SNGP operates at a dependable capacity of 221.8 MW across multiple geothermal plants, with this expansion set to strengthen infrastructure and increase output.
