NHPC awards 2,400 MW wind-solar hybrid projects under Tranche-X

NHPC Limited has issued Letters of Award (LoAs) to four developers for setting up a total of 2,400 MW of Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS)-connected wind-solar hybrid power projects across India. These projects, awarded under Tranche-X, may include Energy Storage Systems (ESS) and will be developed on a build, own, and operate (BOO) basis. Tata Power invites bids to supply 250 MW FDRE power

Tata Power Company Limited (TPCL) has issued a Request for Selection (RfS) on 29 April 2025 to procure 250 MW of Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) power. The power will come from Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS) connected renewable energy projects integrated with Energy Storage Systems (ESS), located anywhere in India.
