Panasonic opens RE100 renewable-powered manufacturing plant in Wales

Panasonic Manufacturing UK has launched its RE100 facility in Cardiff, Wales, powered entirely by renewable energy sources including hydrogen fuel cells, solar photovoltaic (PV) power, and battery storage.  The facility features 21 hydrogen fuel cells with 95% efficiency, 372 kW of solar capacity, and 1 MWh of battery storage, all managed via Panasonic’s energy management system (EMS). Hyundai Motor partners with FPEL for two RE projects in Tamil Nadu

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has signed an agreement with Fourth Partner Energy Limited (FPEL) to establish a 75 MW Solar Plant and a 43 MW Wind Power Plant in Tamil Nadu.  HMIL has a target for RE100 to transition to 100% renewable electricity across its operations by 2025, it currently sources 63% of its energy from renewables.
