EGAT plans three pumped storage power plants in Thailand

The Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) has announced plans to develop three pumped storage power plants (PSPPs) at existing dams in Chaiyaphum, Kanchanaburi, and Nakhon Si Thammarat provinces.  These facilities will have a combined capacity of 2.47 GW and are expected to become operational between 2034 and 2037.
