Powin and BHE Renewables partner to build solar-storage microgrids

Powin has teamed up with BHE Renewables to deliver a major solar and storage microgrid in Ravenswood, West Virginia. This project will supply renewable energy to Titanium Metals (TIMET), a subsidiary of Precision Castparts, for manufacturing titanium products for the aerospace industry. Powin will provide a 50MW Centipede Stack800 battery energy storage system, designed for 10-12 hours of energy discharge.
