Philippines DOE greenlights 19 energy projects for grid compatibility assessment

The Department of Energy (DOE) in the Philippines has approved 19 projects for grid assessment via the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP).  These projects will undergo a system impact study to evaluate grid readiness for new energy connections and identify required upgrades. The Department of Energy (DOE) in the Philippines has announced plans to commercialize three offshore wind projects with a combined capacity of 1,650 MW. The projects have received certificates of confirmation of commerciality, enabling them to enter the development phase.
