NTPC partners with USAID to achieve net zero emissions in townships

NTPC has signed an MoU with USAID’s India Mission to create a roadmap for transforming its townships and offices into net zero establishments.  NTPC aims to achieve net zero Scope 2 emissions in its townships and offices by FY 2025-26. Efforts are also underway to make these locations net zero in water and waste.
