National Grid Renewables has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with the Illinois Municipal Electric Agency (IMEA) for the 150 MW Bee Hollow solar project in St. Clair County, Illinois.  Construction is slated to start in 2025, expanding the company’s solar capacity in Illinois to 350 MW, including the Prairie Wolf solar project in Coles County. National Grid Renewables begins construction of 100MW Apple River Solar project

National Grid Renewables has started construction on the 100MW Apple River Solar project in Polk County, Wisconsin.  Scheduled to commence operations in late 2025, the project will generate clean energy sufficient to power approximately 26,000 homes annually. The solar farm will use First Solar Series 6 Plus bifacial modules. Construction is being handled by The Boldt Company, creating 150 jobs.
