NTPC signs solar PPA with UPPCL, commissions 110.52 MW at Khavda

NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL), a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Limited, signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) for 1,000 MW of solar power. CERC grants transmission licenses for three projects in Rajasthan and Gujarat

In recent orders, the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) has granted transmission licences to three projects:  Khavda Phase-IV Renewable Energy Project:CERC has granted a transmission license to POWERGRID Khavda IV-E2 Power Transmission Limited, a subsidiary of Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL).  The project, part of Gujarat’s Khavda Phase-IV (7 GW), will operate under the Build, Own, Operate, and Transfer (BOOT) method.
