JA Solar secures deal for Africa’s largest PV-storage project

JA Solar has signed a 1.25GW module supply agreement with China Energy Engineering Corporation (CEEC) for Africa’s largest photovoltaic (PV) and storage project in Egypt.  The agreement, finalized during the World Future Energy Summit 2025 in Abu Dhabi, makes JA Solar the exclusive supplier of high-efficiency n-type PV modules for the Abydos Phase II 1GW+600MWh PV-storage project.
