Vedanta plans Rs 1,000 billion investment in Rajasthan

Mining and metals conglomerate Vedanta plans to invest nearly Rs 1,000 billion in Rajasthan, with a significant portion earmarked for renewable power projects.  Vedanta’s major businesses, including Hindustan Zinc and Cairn India, are based in Rajasthan.
