Interstate transmission system to boost Andhra Pradesh’s renewable energy integration

The National Committee on Transmission (NCT) recently approved an interstate transmission system (ISTS) to integrate 4.5 GW of renewable energy from the Anantapur-II Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) in Andhra Pradesh. The project, estimated at Rs 46.79 billion, will facilitate energy evacuation through infrastructure enhancements.
