Hindalco commissions battery foil unit, expands aluminium capacity in Odisha
Hindalco Industries Ltd has commissioned India’s first battery grade aluminium foil manufacturing facility in Odisha and announced a major expansion of its aluminium smelting capacity in the state. The projects involve a combined investment of around Rs 21,000 crore and strengthen domestic supply chains for energy storage, electric mobility and power intensive manufacturing.
