India and Nepal advance cross-border power transmission projects
India and Nepal have signed key agreements to develop high-capacity cross-border transmission corridors, strengthening electricity trade and regional energy cooperation. Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) and the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) formalised pacts to establish two joint venture entities, one in each country, for implementing the planned projects.
