NorthWestern acquires 10% stake in North Plains Connector HVDC project

NorthWestern Energy has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Grid United’s North Plains Connector to acquire a 10% stake in the 3GW HVDC transmission line project.  The 420-mile (676 km) transmission line will link Bismarck, North Dakota, and Colstrip, Montana. BHEL-Hitachi Energy consortium wins Khavda-Nagpur HVDC project

Power Grid acquires Khavda V-A transmission project

Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (PGCIL) acquired “Khavda V-A Power Transmission Ltd” from REC Power Development & Consultancy Ltd (RECPDCL) on November 19, 2024. Avista to acquire 10% stake in 3 GW North Plains Connector transmission project
