POWERGRID clears HVDC refurbishment spend, commissions WRES XXV
Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) announced two developments on 17 December 2025. The company’s Board of Directors approved an investment of Rs 1,226.93 crore for the refurbishment of the Bhadrawati Chandrapur high voltage direct current (HVDC) back to back system.
