MERC and GEAPP partner to advance Maharashtra’s energy transition

The Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission (MERC) and Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP) have signed a Statement of Intent (SoI) to support Maharashtra’s energy transition through regulatory and policy innovations. GEAPP and UPEIDA to develop 450-500 MW solar park along Bundelkhand Expressway

The Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP) is partnering with the Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA) to establish a 450-500 MW solar park along the Bundelkhand Expressway.  This pilot project aims to create a green energy corridor across the expressway, with approximately 450 MW of solar power installed on the expressway’s designated land area, spanning 15-20 meters on both sides.
