Solarworld and H.G. Infra win 1,000 MWh BESS tender from GUVNL

Solarworld Energy Solutions and H.G. Infra Engineering have emerged as winners in Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited’s (GUVNL) Phase VI auction for 500 MW/1,000 MWh of standalone battery energy storage systems (BESS). Rajasthan floats tender for 500 MW/1,000 MWh BESS

Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (RRVUNL) has issued a tender to establish a 500 MW/1,000 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) with an additional greenshoe option of 500 MW/1,000 MWh. The deadline for bid submissions is December 16, 2024.  The capacity will be distributed across multiple sites, including the Giral Lignite Power Project in Barmer, the Suratgarh Thermal Power Station, and substations in Sakatputa, Kota, and Jaipur.
