Blue Energy to invest Rs 35 billion in electric trucks in Maharashtra

Blue Energy Motors, a key partner in Essar’s green mobility initiative, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Maharashtra to invest Rs 35 billion in establishing an electric truck manufacturing facility.  The facility, set to begin operations in FY 2025-26, will have the capacity to produce 30,000 electric trucks annually. UltraTech Cement expands electric truck fleet for sustainable logistics

UltraTech Cement Limited is expanding its use of electric trucks, contracting 100 EV trucks to transport 75,000 tonnes of clinker monthly over a 400-km roundtrip between its Dhar Cement Works in Madhya Pradesh and Dhule Cement Works in Maharashtra.
