EET to develop UK’s first large-scale low-carbon hydrogen hub

Essar Energy Transition (EET) Hydrogen is developing the UK’s first large-scale, low-carbon hydrogen production hub at its Stanlow site. The hub will have a total capacity of 1,350 MW and will capture approximately 2.5 million tonnes of carbon annually. The hydrogen produced will be used locally, including at EET Fuels’ Stanlow refinery and by key manufacturers such as Encirc, Pilkington, and Tata Chemicals.
