Delhi lays foundation for 55.5 MW BESS, launches Chandni Chowk cable undergrounding
Delhi has initiated two grid infrastructure projects, including the foundation laying for four utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) with a combined capacity of 55.5 MW / 111 MWh, and the launch of an underground cabling project in Chandni Chowk. The BESS installations will be developed at Shivalik, Dwarka and Goyala Khurd in South and West Delhi under BSES Rajdhani Power Limited (BRPL).
