Amazon adds nearly 1 GW of new renewable energy across Europe
Amazon has added almost 1 GW of clean energy to European grids through 20 new renewable projects launched in 2025. Developed with 12 energy partners, the projects span Spain, Italy, Poland, Germany, and Greece. Together, they can power over 700,000 homes each year. Amazon now supports more than 230 renewable projects in Europe, mainly through power purchase agreements that provide long-term stability for developers.
