PFCCL incorporates SPV for Fatehgarh and Barmer transmission projects

PFC Consulting Limited (PFCCL) has incorporated Fatehgarh II And Barmer I PS Transmission Limited, a special purpose vehicle (SPV), for the augmentation at Fatehgarh-II PS, Fatehgarh-IV PS (Section-II), and Barmer-I PS. The incorporation was completed on December 30, 2024. PFCCL is serving as the bid process coordinator (BPC) to select a transmission service provider (TSP) for the project’s establishment through the tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB) process.

PFCCL incorporates SPV for North-Eastern Region transmission project

PFC Consulting Limited (PFCCL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Power Finance Corporation Limited, has established a special purpose vehicle (SPV) named NER Expansion Transmission Limited.  The SPV is tasked with developing the “North-Eastern Region Expansion Scheme-XXV Part-A (NERES-XXV Part-A).” The Ministry of Power has appointed PFCCL as the bid process coordinator to select a transmission service provider through a tariff-based competitive bidding process.

RECPDCL establishes SPV for Lakadia substation capacity enhancement

REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL) has established Lakadia B Power Transmission Limited, a special purpose vehicle (SPV) aimed at augmenting the transformation capacity of the 765/400 kV Lakadia Substation in Gujarat.  RECPDCL has been designated as the bid process coordinator to select a transmission service provider for this project through a tariff-based competitive bidding process.

KPI Green signs PPAs with GUVNL for renewable energy projects

KPI Green Energy has signed power purchase agreements (PPAs) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam (GUVNL) for 620 MWAC (917 MWDC) renewable energy projects.  The agreement includes a 250 MWAC (275 MWDC) grid-connected solar photovoltaic project, won through a competitive bidding process under Phase-XXIV, aimed at procuring power from 500 MW grid-connected solar projects across India, with an additional greenshoe option for up to 500 MW. PFCCL transfers four SPVs to PGCIL and Adani Energy

On October 15, 2024, PFC Consulting Ltd (PFCCL) transferred four special purpose vehicles (SPVs) for interstate transmission system (ISTS) projects to their winning developers, selected through tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB). The projects were handed over to Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (PGCIL) and Adani Energy Solutions Ltd (AESL), with each developer receiving two projects.
