41 bids received for 11 coal blocks under 12th round of commercial auction
The Ministry of Coal opened bids for the 12th round of commercial coal block auctions on June 16, 2025. Out of 22 coal blocks offered (excluding six underground blocks), bids were received for 11 blocks. A total of 41 bids were submitted, both online and offline.
