CCI approves JSW Energy’s acquisition of KSK Mahanadi and Adani Infra’s stake in PSP Projects
The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has approved JSW Energy Limited’s acquisition of a 100 per cent stake in KSK Mahanadi Power Company Limited (KMPCL) through its wholly owned subsidiary, JSW Thermal Energy One Limited. KMPCL operates a 3,600 MW (6×600 MW) thermal power plant in Janjgir-Champa, Chhattisgarh, and is currently undergoing the corporate insolvency resolution process under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016.
