Bharti Airtel invests in 50 MW wind-solar hybrid project in Rajasthan

Bharti Airtel has acquired a 26% stake in a special purpose vehicle of AMPIN Energy Transition to develop a 50 MW wind-solar hybrid power project in Barmer, Rajasthan.  The Rs 378.9 million investment will enable Airtel to source green energy in a captive mode, utilizing interstate transmission networks for nationwide distribution.
